More about the procedure
What is the procedure?
Plexr is a new generation medical plasma generator that offers a non-surgical alternative to surgical blepharoplasty (correction of sagging skin of the upper eyelids). By creating a micro-electric arc, the device causes controlled evaporation of the superficial skin layer without damaging the surrounding tissues.
What is achieved with Plexr?
Lifting and tightening of upper eyelids
Improving skin elasticity in the periorbital area
Smoothing fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes
Creating a more open, „freshened“ look
Advantages of the procedure
No surgery or incisions
Without general anesthesia
Quick recovery
Suitable for people who do not want surgery
Lasting results with correct indication
Small crusts that fall off in 5–7 days. The area fully recovers within 10–14 days, but the skin should be protected from the sun for at least a month with daily use of SPF 50+.
Who is it suitable for?
Non-invasive blepharoplasty is suitable for men and women with:
Mild to moderate skin relaxation in the upper eyelid area
„"Tired" appearance, no indications for surgical correction
Good general health and realistic expectations
Not recommended for active skin infections, a tendency to keloids, severe forms of sagging skin (suitable for surgical blepharoplasty) or certain eye diseases.
How does the procedure work?
Consultation and planning – individual assessment of anatomy and indications
Anesthesia – with local anesthetic cream
Working with Plexr – treating selected areas with multiple micropulses
Recovery – small crusts (dot-shaped) appear, which fall off in 5–7 days
Follow-up examination – after 10–14 days
What to expect after the procedure?
Swelling and redness, which are most visible in the first 48-72 hours.
Formation of small crusts that should not be removed mechanically and fall off on their own in about 7 days
Wearing sunglasses and strict photoprotection is recommended for 4–6 weeks.
Visible tightening is noticeable after about 14 days, with progressive improvement up to 6–8 weeks
How many procedures are needed?
Usually 1–2 procedures are sufficient, but in more severe cases, a repeat treatment may be recommended after 6–8 weeks.
The results are long-lasting, especially when following recommendations and maintenance care.
Safety and certification
Plexr is a certified medical device (CE and FDA) used in dermatology and aesthetic clinics worldwide. The procedure is safe when performed by a trained physician with experience in the anatomy of the periorbital area.
