Calcium hydroxyapatite

More about the procedure

Description

A modern injection procedure with a double effect - instant lifting and long-term collagen biostimulation. Calcium hydroxyapatite is an extremely fine and completely biocompatible substance that is injected into the deep layers of the skin and dermis. Immediately after application, it adds density and volume, and in the following weeks activates the natural mechanisms for restoration, regeneration and remodeling of the skin structure.

It is used to shape contours, improve skin texture, tighten and rejuvenate areas with visible sagging and volume loss. It has a natural and long-lasting result.

What are the indications?

  • Loss of volume in the midface
  • Sagging cheekbones and a poorly defined lower jaw
  • Nasolabial and marionette lines
  • Sagging skin on the neck and décolleté
  • Fine wrinkles on the hands
  • Skin with impaired structure, density and tone
  • Collagen stimulation in more mature skin

What are the indications?

  • Instant volume and contour improvement
  • Progressive effect after 3–6 weeks, thanks to newly formed collagen
  • The effect lasts between 12 and 18 months.
  • 1 procedure per year is recommended to maintain the result.

Calcium hydroxyapatite is an exceptional product in the arsenal of modern aesthetic medicine - it does not just replenish, but stimulates, regenerates and builds a new, better quality skin matrix.

At the Stoimenov Dermatology center, the procedure is performed by certified specialists, with a personalized protocol and precise control of the result.

What is the difference between a filler, a Skinbooster and a collagen stimulator? Arrow for FAQ

The filler adds volume, the Skinbooster hydrates, and the stimulator activates the production of your own collagen.

Am I suitable for lifting mesothreads? Arrow for FAQ

Yes, if you have moderate sagging and do not want surgery. For faces that are too wide and heavy, we recommend a surgical facelift performed by a plastic surgeon.

How often should collagen stimulator therapies be performed? Arrow for FAQ

Calcium hydroxyapatite, dextranomers and polylactic acid – no more than 2 sessions per year.

Is there a risk of an “overly pumped face”? Arrow for FAQ

Not when we work with moderate volume, precise technique, and a medical approach.

How does botulinum toxin work? Arrow for FAQ

Botulinum toxin temporarily blocks the signal between the nerve and the muscle. It does not create volume, unlike hyaluronic fillers. This relaxes the muscle and smooths out facial wrinkles.

The effect occurs within 3–5 days after injection and lasts about 4–6 months. It is suitable for the forehead, eye contour, frown lines and other dynamic areas.
